Slow Cooker Barbecue: An Excellent Way for Cooking Goose

Cooking goose is scary to some, but here is an easy way to prepare an excellent meal of waterfowl. 1. Thaw out 1 or 2 Canda Goose or 6 Snow Goose breasts. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large saucepan, then saute 1 clove of minced garlic and 1 small chopped onion for 5 minutes. Add your goose breast into the saucepan and brown on both sides. Add the contents of the saucepan into your slow cooker along with 1 1/2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and 2 cups of chicken broth. Cook on high for 5-6 hours and shred the meat as much as you can. Add your favorite barbecue sauce and allow it to cook for 1 more hour. Finish shredding and serve!
