Waterfowl Migration

Finally, prolonged NW winds have invaded the Mississippi flyway! New birds are arriving daily and the cool temps look to stick around. The main push of mallards should be getting close to entering central parts of the state and with the potential for colder weather and even some of the white stuff early next week, I’d say duck hunting will be at it finest very shortly! Great timing to due to goose season being out the next couple weeks. If the snow does evolve, we may stack up with geese the next two weeks and have an awesome weekend when they open back up!
