Opening Day – Realtree’s “The X”

We headed north to kick off this year’s season of filming Realtree’s “The X”. The summer reports of drought conditions effecting water levels were easily seen. Many small pot holes were completely dry, while larger ones were left with 10-50 yards of mud flat between cat tails and hunt able water. Being early in the season, there was a huge variety of ducks around and with a little road time, we were able to find plenty of ducks and have a great start to the season.
